Cultivating Mentors and Sponsors

In academia, having mentors, sponsors and champions for your work can make all the difference in navigating challenges and unlocking opportunities. This session will provide insights into identifying mentors and sponsors, fostering those relationships, and differentiating between the two. Guided by senior colleagues from multiple schools, attendees will identify strategies for creating lasting and impactful relationships to propel their academic careers forward. This session is intended for both early and mid-career faculty who are tenure track, teaching, research and practice.
